Stark Investments Veteran Michael Keough Set to Launch Racon Capital Partners with $35 Million

Milwaukee-based Racon Capital Partners is set to launch after raising $35 million. According to the Business Journal, Racon Capital Partners will be managed by Michael Keough, among other former Stark Investments employees. Stark Investments, which lost more than $12 billion in assets between its peak in 2007 and 2012, scuttled all of its multi-strategy hedge funds last year.

Michael Keough’s Racon Capital Partners which has raised its funds primarily through investment partners, family and friends is expected to open its hedge fund to outside investors in March with a minimum $1 million buy-in.
