Rob Chandra Branches out from Bessemer Venture to launch Avid Park hedge fund

Rob Chandra of Bessemer Venture Partners has parlayed his prolific fund raising success into the creation of a $250 million long/short equities hedge fund focused on the technology sector. According to Reuters, Rob Chandra will manage the new hedge fund, called Avid Park, while holding on to some of his duties at Bessemer Venture Partners. In his role as a venture capitalist, Rob Chandra is no stranger to buy and hold strategies having shepherded investments in such companies as Staples, Yelp, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
