Nautical Capital Management Unveils New Commodity-Based Strategies

Nautical Capital Management has recently announced the launch of its new commodities-based absolute returns strategies. According to the company, the new institutional investor targeted strategies are “intended to be the most diversified, comprehensive and tailored commodities funds offered anywhere in the world.”

Nautical Capital Management is a private fund manager that specializes in commodity investing and enhanced-index and absolute return strategies. Nautical has developed both alpha-oriented strategies, including the Active Commodity Strategy, and enhanced beta-oriented strategies, including the Active Commodity Index. The firm offers its services to institutional investors, fund of funds, family offices, and endowments.

Nautical Capital Management, a private fund manager that specializes in commodity investing and enhanced-index and absolute return strategies, was founded in 2009. Nautical’s President David Henritze was previously a Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing at Firmat USA, a subsidiary of Société Générale. Before Finmat, he co-founded Refco Alternative Investments.
