Just months after closing her commodities hedge fund, Jennifer Fan has joined Millennium Management as a portfolio manager. According to Reuters, the 30-year old founder of the Arbalet commodities hedge fund was hired to manage a similar portfolio strategy for the New York-based, global investment management.

Jennifer Fan chiefly employs relative-value strategies that seek to identify trading opportunities in the energy and agricultural markets. After launching the Arbalet hedge fund with $700 million in 2012, a year of under-performance led Jennifer Fan to close her hedge fund following mass redemptions by investors.
