Manatuck Hill Partners Spinning-Off From Pequot

The investment team that manages Pequot Capital Management’s small-cap focused Pequot Scout Fund is spinning off from the troubled firm to create Manatuck Hill Partners. According to an article from Reuters, the new firm will continue to manage the Scout Found and will be led by Mark Broach.

Mr. Broach is currently a Managing Director at Pequot, where he has worked for 15 years. Mr. Broach and his 10 person team plan to officially be independent from Pequot on July 1.
