Owl Creek Asset Management is aiming to launch its latest hedge fund sometime this summer. The new hedge fund will reportedly focus on activist investing in Japan.

Jeff Altman founded Owl Creek Asset Management, a deep value focused investor, in 2001 after having spent many years as a portfolio manager at Franklin Mutual Advisers.
