Former Hong Kong-based Goldman Sachs trader, Christopher Mikosh has embarked upon a plan to start a new Asia-based hedge fund scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of 2012 or first quarter of 2013.

As reported by Reuters, Christopher Mikosh follows former Goldman Sachs trader, Morgan Sze, who launched Azentus Capital with $1 billion of assets in 2011. The new hedge fund will be called TOR and will be co-managed by Patrik Edsparr, formerly of Citadel and Jim Sweeney, former CEO of the now defunct Asia hedge fund, Boyer Allan Investment Management. TOR will be operated as a credit hedge fund concentrating in financial securities.
