Former Normura Star Benjamin Fuchs Shines Brightly with his BFAM Partners

Boosted by a 9 percent return in December, former Nomura trader, Benjamin Fuchs’ BFAM Partners catapulted to the top of Asia funds with a 32 percent return in 2012. According to Reuters, only Charlie Chan’s Splendid Asia macro hedge fund performed better with a 63 percent gain.

BFAM Partners, with $400 million under management, launched its Asian Opportunities Fund in June of 2012 placing big bets in the credit markets that paid off quickly. In his new venture, Benjamin Fuchs has continued his streak of strong performances dating back to 2009 when he led Nomura trading team to a 48 percent gain.
