Roger Guy and Guillaume Rambourg, who ran hedge fund Gartmore Investment Management’s European large-cap fund, have decided to start their own hedge fund. According to Investment Week, Guy and Rambourg were both top-level management at Gartmore Investment Management; Roger Guy had been a fund manager at the hedge fund for over 17 years. After Rambourg left in June, Guy followed suit in September. Their departures spawned a large wave of withdrawals, with investors withdrawing over $5 billion from Gartmore.
