Empyrean Capital Partners hires GoldenTree Asset Management veteran Brian Joseph

Michael A. Price and Amos Meron’s Empyrean Capital Partners has recently hired Brian Joseph away from Steve Tananbaum’s GoldenTree Asset Management. Mr. Joseph now serves as a senior portfolio manager at Empyrean Capital. He was with GoldenTree for almost 6 years as a senior research analyst. Before that, he was an analyst in Dresdner Kleinwort’s investment management group.

Michael Price and Amos Meron, both of whom were previously partners at Goldman Sachs, founded Los Angeles-based Empyrean Capital Partners in 2004.
