Stephen Jen is reportedly launching his own hedge fund, SLJ Macro Partners, later this month. Prior to forming SLJ Macro, Mr. Jen worked at Dennis Crema and Pierre Andurand’s BlueGold Capital Management as the director of macroeconmics and currencies. While at BluGold, he made a name for himself as a star currency trader.

SLJ Macro Partners is London-based and will focus on currency trading, according to FinAlternatives. However, it will also invest in commodities, equities and fixed-income securities in order to curb volatility.
