Hedge fund investors took advantage of rallies in both the bond and stock market in April to record average returns of over 1% for the month. Two indexes that track hedge fund performance, one produced by Hedge Fund Research and another compiled by Hennessee Group, were up 1.29% and 1.5%, respectively, in April.
